Bio
Interests: I spend much of my time cultivating the fertile ground of my mind, hungrily devouring words as if the essence of my life subsists on the the sustaining substance of knowledge. The universe is a playground for the dark illumination of my soul as I observe the actors mindlessly playing out their insignificant lives within the depths of all pervading Nature.
I'm currently attending college. At the moment I think I want to make a career out of being a genetic engineer, but am divided between being that or going into journalism. Maybe I can find out a way to do both. When I'm not attending classes or doing my homework I'm either watching movies, reading, or sleeping.
I'm always in the mood for a good conversation so if you read my journal and find my depraved humor amusing then message me or add me to your list.

Favorite Authors: Friedrich Nietzsche, Marquis De Sade (for a surreal trip into the bowels of sadism and sexual depravity), Edgar Allan Poe, Albert Einstein, Acharya S, Gore Vidal, Bertrand Russell, Joseph Campbell, Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Greek Classics (of course), G. A. Wells, Earl Doherty, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Voltaire, Clive Barker (Imajica is the greatest fantasy literature ever created), Michael Moorcock, Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, Tanith Lee, Karl Edward Wagner (pehaps no author has created a more fascinating amoral anti-hero as Kane), J. R. R. Tolkien, Lucretius etc....

Musical Interests: Ludwig van Beethoven, Carl Orff, Vivaldi, KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Skinny Puppy, The Doors, The Cure, Chopin, Cradle of Filth, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, Richard Wagner, Burzum, Tristania, Mayhem, Mozart, Carcass,Gardenian, Tool,Immortal,Graveworm, Emperor, Borknagar, Einhernjer, Wumpscut,In Flames, Exhumed, Vintersorg,Brahms, Hecate Enthroned; basically almost everything and anything Death and Black Metal, Industrial, Gothic, and Instrumental.

Cinematic Enjoyments:I love horror flicks, Cemetary Man and Donnie Darko are two of my ultimate favorites. Science Fiction: the Matrix with its quasi-religious, eastern mysticism and gnostic undertones,The Fifth Element, A. I., The Minority Report, Total Recall, Bladerunner (all inspired by Philip Dick's classic science fiction literature might I add, excepting the Matrix and A.I. of course), Videodrome, Clockwork Orange, and The Butterfly Effect. Horror: Army of Darkness, The Truth About Demons, Evil Dead 1&2, far to many to mention here. I also like anything to do with freak shows and disfigured and grotesquely misshapen human beings Todd Browning's Freaks is a classic, David Lynch films are positively ingenious creations of a diseased but brilliantly creative mind and Twin Fall's Idaho is an ideal love story for the depraved. I also have to mention how much I love movies dealing with themes of crime. Carlito's Way, Goodfellas, Scarface, and Casino are four of the greatest movies ever made. I also loved Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and Chopper.

Art: H.R. Giger (www.hrgiger.com), R.S. Connett (www.vomitus.com), Beksinski, Tim Burton, Hieronymous Bosch, M. C. Escher, Joel-Peter Witkins,David Ho, Clive Barker, Edward Gorey, Salvidor Dali

Books that have influenced my life:

Philosophy:

Guy Murchie- The Seven Mysteries of Life- Although all of the profoundly vast information contained within this ingeniously crafted book should be read with an open but skeptical mind, for it combines science with philosophy, it acts as an introductory text to biology, geology, sociology, mathematics and physics and theorizes about the interconnectedness of all of the living and nonliving entities of the universe.

Will Durant-The Story of Philosophy- A thorough introduction to most of the monumental philosophers that have shaped the course of Western Civilization.

History:

Howard Zinn-A People's History of the United States- A must read for every American.
History from the people's point of view, it starts with Christopher Columbus and ends with Bill Clinton.

Religion:

Acharya S-The Christ Conspiracy-The Christ Conspiracy is a boundary breaking bulldozer of scholarly research, a vehicle of illumination, an escape from the fraudulent, mind encapsulating, superstitious memes of the past. The Christ Conspiracy smashes down the suffocating walls of Christianity to liberate the brain within, to free humankind's struggling reason from the skeletal grasp of dark age ignorance, to fish the drowning light of liberty from the caliginous shadowy depths of priestridden deception, to topple the high towers of cathedral spires upon which the martyrs of freethought have hung skewered for far too long. The Christ Conspiracy exposes a world long burdened with priestcraft to a burning light that strikes to the very depths of humanity's soul, burning away hypocrisy and historical fraudulence, harmful superstitions and vacuous prayers. Exposes unspoken meretricious atrocities done in the name of salvation and love, unclothes the darkness of this world with the burning sanctity of science and clears the air of the deceitful pungent flatulence spoken from the eternally decadent thrones of greed and mendacity.

Dislikes: Religious fundamentalists of any kind, psychologists, rednecks, hicks, whiny famous people
